turning colorful targets grey

I do believe this was our most colorful match yet.  As most of you know, our TG, Shalako Tucker, designed this month’s match:

The Man Behind the Mayhem: Shalako Tucker designed this month’s stages.

…and during our setup the day before, Pinto Annie and I had way too much fun with the spray paint:

Of course, after we all got done shooting, most of it was grey!

All in all, it was a lively day, and a fun, fun match to boot.  Here are some pics:

  1. Shalako putting the bead on the shotgun targets.
  2. Mr. Black Powder Himself.  Courth Pollard brought his Walker reproduction for me to try, claiming that that was a TRUE GIGANTIC black powder pistol.  (I definitely think ‘gigantic’ is a good word for it.)
  3. Doc Day checking Emma’s pistol at the unloading table.

  1. Who is that masked person?  The Bonnetted Avenger?  Actually, it’s Emma Bookherder shooting her pistol.
  2. DeShoots Kid and Runamuck looking on while El Gordo Hombre (on the far left) times the shooter.
  3. The rest of the gang.  Idaho Al, Two-Shot Down, Doc Day, Shifty Jack, Courth Pollard, and J.P. Sloe.

  1. Kidnapped shooting the last stage.  This entire stage moved, and was really fun to see.

So that’s pretty much it.  Match times & scores have been totaled and posted on the Trophy Wall.  We’ll be shooting next month on the 24th, same time, same place, and we hope to see you there.
